About

I am a teacher living on the rural outskirts of Hobart. I teach music and humanities. I love my garden. I indulge in an occasional musical theatre experience. I am committed to my local gym. I try to paint sometimes. I have a wonderful husband and a corker of a boy still living at home.

Inevitably there is something of me in Sophia. Sophia loves her mountain home, embraces motherhood and survives the difficulties of an absent partner.  Whilst being a product of her age, Sophia is also strong and resilient. Sophia had a difficult life. There are times in my life  which I am glad to have left behind. In the C19th, people would cross an ocean to distance themselves from the past. I trust that Sophia was able to move forward and find joy in her life as I have.
